Exotic animals as Pets

Keeping animals as pets is a common feature noticeable in most people across the globe in the present day world. However this is not a new practice and has been carried down through generations from time immemorial. Some people keep pets for their general likeness for animals while some others are not motivated by the warmth and affection the reared animal displays towards its kind master on whom he is completely dependant.
Sometimes people are motivated to keep exotic species of animals with a view of protecting the endangered animals in a more secured environment may be because its natural habitat is not suitable for its safety and survival while for some others rearing of exotic species as their own pets is like satisfaction of a deep rooted psychological need to establish a relationship between the owner’s country and the original habitat pf the animal which is now reared as a pet. It may also happen that rearing of animals may be due to the lack of any other being required for the shower of human emotions and the individual may find in the exotic cat or a dog the reciprocation of his feelings which leads to the first step of bonding between the animal and his master.

 Some times exotic breeds of animals are also reared to earn monetary exchange such as exotic breeds of animals hires by a circus to bolster its rate of revenue or it could even be a small scale entertainer who with the aid of his rare breed of animals earns his daily income. Thus we see that there are various reasons due to which men rears and keeps varied species of animals as his pets. The reasons vary from being a psychological need to a financial need to an emotional need depending on the individual.
